Gledswood Cottage  nr Melrose

This single storey cottage is not far from Melrose (3 miles) and Earlston (3 miles) in the Scottish Borders. It has a large enclosed grass garden (lovely views) at the side of a quiet back road about 1 hours drive south of Edinburgh, near to the famous beauty spot on the River Tweed beloved by Sir Walter Scott known as `Scott's View'. It is an enviable situation for visiting the whole of the Borders with its good restaurants, fishing, riding, walking, interesting tweed/woollen mills and historic houses. Swimming pool at Galashiels, 6 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles. Accommodation comprises 2 twin rooms, one of which has zip-lock beds. 2 nights must start on a Friday or a Saturday, 3 nights must start on a Friday, 4 nights must start on a Monday, 7 night breaks start on a Saturday.
